Abstract

The implementation of a multi-channel data acquisition system that provides galvanic isolation between channels is considered. The relevance of this topic is due to the need to perform measurements and process various signals in laboratory equipment intended for scientific research and the educational process.Galvanic isolation is critically important for preventing interaction between system elements, which can lead to data distortion or equipment failure. The modern experience of building data acquisition systems is analyzed, various methods of channel isolation are considered, such as galvanic isolation (transformer, optoisolation), capacitive, and others.Their advantages and disadvantages are studied in terms of data transfer speed, isolation level, cost, and implementation complexity.A structural and schematic diagram of a multi-channel data acquisition system using the selected isolation technology is developed.Modeling and experimental studies of the developed system are carried out to evaluate its characteristics, such as accuracy, data acquisition speed, isolation level, and resistance to interference.Purpose.To develop a universal, low-cost data acquisition system with galvanic isolation for both individual channels and groups of channels.Method.Comparative analysis and experimental methods were used during the research.Results.A universal hardware platform has been developed, primarily designed for measuring voltages and currents as part of a laboratory setup.Voltage measurement channels can either share a common ground, be isolated from each other, or have different reference levels.Scientific novelty.A universal multi-channel data acquisition system with galvanic channel isolation has been developed, which is distinguished by an increased number of channels while maintaining high speed and accuracy of measurements due to the use of high-speed data transfer technologies.Practical importance.Data acquisition in industrial automation systems, scientific research, and other areas where high reliability and measurement accuracy are required in the presence of strong electromagnetic interference.
