Masculinity and Marital Satisfaction based on Deep Learning and Mediation Effect
This paper proposes a new method for studying mediating variables based on deep learning and binary data analysis. We use artificial intelligence algorithms to smooth the data and expand the dataset. Due to the limitations of analytical tools, previous studies on marital satisfaction have rarely focused on binary data analysis methods. This study used the actor-partner interdependence method to investigate 469 couples and found that: (1) an individual's instrumental support intention can mediate the relationship between the partner's masculinity and marital satisfaction; (2) an individual's masculinity can stimulate the partner's instrumental support intention, thereby improving his or her marital satisfaction. This study innovatively introduced the concept of instrumental support intention and clarified the potential application of the actor-partner interdependence modeling method in spousal interactions.
