Teaching Exploration of Doppler Frequency Visualisation for Space-Based Radar based on GeoGebra
The teaching of space-based radar, involving complex three-dimensional orbital geometric relationships, is often challenging and traditional teaching methods are too abstract for students to grasp. Although some academics have attempted to use simulation software such as Mathematica as a tool, the complexity of the content generated and the less than ideal performance limit its effectiveness. To address the educational challenges posed by space-based radar clutter Doppler frequencies, GeoGebra software was introduced as a teaching tool. With its easy-to-use interface and dynamic display capabilities, GeoGebra can present complex knowledge effectively and visually. Practice has shown that the use of GeoGebra has significantly improved students' understanding and mastery of this difficult concept. This teaching experience has provided valuable insights into the use of GeoGebra as a teaching aid in other courses.
