This study utilized the quasi-experimental method, where a sample was selected and divided into two groups: an experimental group, consisting of 25 male and female students, and a control group, also with 25 male and female students, who are studying Arabic language at the university. The author of this study developed a test consisting of 20 items to measure the students' understanding of rhetorical concepts. The test's validity and reliability were also verified. The results demonstrated the effectiveness of using concept maps as a teaching strategy for rhetorical concepts, with the experimental group outperforming the control group with an average score of 8.00 compared to 7.40. The differences were statistically significant in favor of the experimental group. Received: 10 March 2025 / Accepted: 26 April 2025 / Published: 08 May 2025
