Full-field 3D deformation measurement of 4D-printed components based on multiview DIC system
This paper proposes a multi-view DIC (Digital Image Correlation) system based on four sets of binocular stereo DIC subsystems, where the subsystems do not require a good common field of view, thus expanding the measurement range. To overcome the calibration difficulties and data stitching issues caused by the small or even non-existent common field of view between the subsystems, this paper presents an extrinsic parameter calibration method based on local-global marker point matching. This method does not rely on a common field of view between the subsystems, effectively supporting data stitching from different camera views. Experimental results demonstrate the full-field 3D deformation measurement of 4D printed components, validating the effectiveness and feasibility of the method in the full-field deformation measurement scenario of 4D printed components. In addition, the system’s high measurement accuracy was validated through a 3D displacement measurement experiment.
