Formation of an IT Project Team by Analogy with a Flock

The paper explores an innovative approach to forming IT project teams based on the analogy of animal herds. Flocks of birds, schools of fish, and other animals demonstrate a high level of coordination and collective efficiency through simple interaction rules, which can be adapted to IT team management. The proposed methodology incorporates the principles of self-organization, local interaction, and adaptation, allowing for the creation of flexible and productive teams. The developed algorithms model flock behavior, facilitating the automation of team formation and management processes, thereby enhancing the efficiency and quality of IT project execution.

Abstract

The paper explores an innovative approach to forming IT project teams based on the analogy of animal herds. Flocks of birds, schools of fish, and other animals demonstrate a high level of coordination and collective efficiency through simple interaction rules, which can be adapted to IT team management. The proposed methodology incorporates the principles of self-organization, local interaction, and adaptation, allowing for the creation of flexible and productive teams. The developed algorithms model flock behavior, facilitating the automation of team formation and management processes, thereby enhancing the efficiency and quality of IT project execution.
