How narrow is narrow QRS in premature ventricular contractions? A novel variant of SCN5A-associated MEPPC
Gain-of-function mutations in the SCN5A gene may cause Multifocal Ectopic Purkinje-related premature Contractions (MEPPC) linked to Purkinje system hyperpolarization and dilated cardiomyopathy. [1] This case highlights the importance of genetic testing in diagnosing arrhythmias and tailoring antiarrhythmic therapy.
