ASSESSING THE IMPACT OF ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE ON EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT AND PRODUCTIVITY IN INFOSYS
Organizational culture plays a crucial role in shaping employee engagement and productivity, directly impacting a company's overall performance. This study explores the relationship between organizational culture and employee engagement at Infosys, a leading global IT services company. The research aims to assess how different cultural aspects-such as leadership style, work environment, communication, and employee values-influence engagement levels and productivity within the organization.A mixed-method approach was adopted, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques.Primary data was gathered through structured surveys and interviews with Infosys employees across various levels, while secondary data was sourced from industry reports, academic journals, and company publications.Statistical tools were employed to analyze the data, ensuring reliable interpretations of employee perceptions and organizational culture dynamics.Findings indicate that a strong and positive organizational culture enhances employee motivation, job satisfaction, and overall performance.Key cultural elements such as transparent communication, leadership support, and recognition programs were found to be significant drivers of engagement. However, challenges such as work-life balance and highperformance expectations were noted as potential barriers to productivity. This research provides valuable insights for HR professionals and business leaders, offering recommendations to strengthen cultural aspects that drive engagement and efficiency.Future studies could expand on this topic by exploring cross-industry comparisons or the long-term effects of organizational culture changes on business performance.
