Sarcopenia in heart failure: Comparison of prognostic value between the Asian working Group for Sarcopenia 2014 and 2019 criteria

The 2014 model shows strong prognostic value for predicting 2-year mortality in patients with heart failure. Although the 2019 model shows similar prognostic value, particularly for severe sarcopenia, it does not significantly outperform the 2014 model. Geriatr Gerontol Int 2025; 25: 764-771.
