Development of psychological resilience of a subject in the process group psychocorrection using the method оf active social-psychological cognition

The article reveals the possibilities of group psychocorrectional work using the method of active social and psychological cognition for the development of the psychological stability of the subject. The similarity of the characteristics of the psychological stability of the subject and the characteristics of personal adjustment is emphasized. This similarity gives grounds to assert that group psychocorrectional work, during which a corrective influence is exerted on the subject of self-development, also contributes to increasing his stress resistance. The effectiveness of the method of active socio-psychological cognition in the aspect of developing the subject's psychological stability has been confirmed by many years of theoretical and empirical work of its author, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine T. S. Yatsenko. Analysis of many years of experience in group psychocorrectional work allows us to state the effectiveness of the method for the formation and development of a number of personal properties – cognitive, motivational, emotional and volitional, which serve as the basis for the psychological stability of the subject. The importance of weakening the destructive tendencies of the subject's psyche, generated by a personal problem, in the context of releasing personal potential is emphasized. The release of potential occurs through the knowledge of the infantile factors of the personal problem and the awareness of the effectiveness of the system of psychological defenses aimed at realizing the infantile interests of the subject while simultaneously masking these interests with prosocial tendencies. This also contributes to the awareness of the deep prerequisites of the destruction of the psyche. Due to this, the potential of the subject, which was previously aimed at masking internal contradictions and "serving" destructive tendencies of the psyche due to the subjective integration of the psyche and deviations from reality, can be not only released, but also used for personal growth. This is what will contribute to increasing the psychological stability of the individual.
