The Digital Transformation of Public Administration in the Context of Clusterization of Russian Regions’ Economy

The article considers the digitalization of the regional public administration system as a potential factor in in-creasing the overall effectiveness of cluster development in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The high assessment of the level of development is given and the main directions of digitalization of the public administration system in the Russian Federation are highlighted. The administrative barriers to the develop-ment of cluster initiatives that can be effectively minimized within the framework of digitalization of the public administration system are considered. The correlation analysis showed that there was no mutual influence of the digital maturity indices of Russian regions and the shares of innovative organizations involved in joint re-search and development projects. In order to improve communication between the public sector, existing re-gional clusters and potential subjects of cluster initiatives, a set of six directions of digitalization of the public administration system in the Russian regions is proposed.
