Application of additive manufacturing 3D printing technology based on thermal radiation images in industrial design
In industrial design, the thermal effect of metal in additive manufacturing (AM) 3D printing technology can significantly affect the printing quality and part performance. This article aims to develop a metal AM 3D printing control system based on thermal radiation image feedback, design and build a metal additive manufacturing 3D printing platform, including a closed-loop control system based on thermal radiation image acquisition. The system collects real-time thermal radiation image data during the printing process and adjusts printing parameters based on data feedback. Finite element analysis (FEA) is used to simulate the thermal stress during the printing process, and the metal AM printing process parameters are optimized through thermal radiation simulation to minimize thermal deformation and residual stress. The system test results show that the control system based on thermal radiation image feedback can effectively control the temperature field distribution during the printing process, significantly reduce thermal stress, and improve printing accuracy and part surface quality. The thermal radiation simulation results provide guidance for optimizing the process parameters of metal AM printing, effectively reducing printing defects. Therefore, the metal AM 3D printing technology based on thermal radiation images proposed in this article effectively improves printing quality through real-time monitoring and control of thermal field distribution, providing a new approach for the manufacturing of complex and high-performance parts in industrial design. It has significant advantages in improving printing accuracy, reducing defects, and optimizing part performance.
