Secure Password Vault System
As digital ecosystems continue to evolve, the need for robust password management solutions has become increasingly critical. This paper presents a comprehensive exploration of secure password vault systems, emphasizing encryption-centric design using modern web technologies.By integrating clientside encryption with robust backend protections, the proposed framework ensures end-to-end security for sensitive credentials. The study delves into historical and modern encryption algorithms, key derivation functions like Argon2 and PBKDF2, and the application of advanced standards such as AES-GCM and TLS 1.3.Leveraging HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, the paper illustrates how web technologies can be harnessed to create secure, usercentric vault systems that adhere to zero-knowledge principles and regulatory standards such as GDPR and HIPAA.Additional security layers, including role-based access control, multi-factor authentication, CSRF protection, and audit logging, are analyzed in depth. The document also investigates future-forward technologies such as post-quantum cryptography, blockchain integration, and AI-driven threat detection. This work aims to serve as both a technical guide and strategic blueprint for developers and organizations seeking to build or enhance secure password management systems
