Methodology for Assessing the Sustainability and Development of Regional Economic Systems: Technological and Environmental Aspects

In a rapidly changing world, it is challenging to keep pace with the dynamics of the methodology for studying regional economic systems. One of the key tasks of regional development is to increase the sustainability of the regional economic system. Consideration of the methodology and indicators for assessing its sustainability will help to competently build a vector of regional development. Maintaining and strengthening the sustainabil-ity of the regional economic system implies an increase in the system's capabilities that allow it to withstand various natural and man-made challenges, economic crises, strikes and other influencing factors. It is crucial to note that the system must not only survive and adapt but also develop and improve itself in conditions of insta-bility. The paper considers the factors of sustainability of regional economic systems, develops indicators for assessing the technological and environmental indicators of the economic and economic factor of the region, proposes a methodology for assessing the development of regional economic systems, and considers the complexities of the empirical assessment of regional economic systems. This methodology enables the evalu-ation of regional sustainability from both technological and environmental perspectives, allowing for conclu-sions to be drawn, dynamics to be compared, and risks to the stability of the system to be identified.
