THE NATURE AND SCOPE OF THE PRINCIPLE OF SPECIALTY IN THE APPLICATION OF THE EUROPEAN ARREST WARRANT
<ns3:p>The principle of specialty fulfilling a guarantee function in extradition law means the inadmissibility of conducting criminal proceedings against a person issued for such acts, which were not the basis for the release, and at the same time were committed before the release. The principle of specialization is also found in the European Arrest Warrant. It is not absolute and a number of exceptions are provided for in Community legislation. Therefore, it seems reasonable to reconstruct the scope of this principle.</ns3:p>
