Social Reality in the Context of New Realities: Characteristics, Determinants, Challenges and Threats

The article examines the concept of "social reality", the determinants and directions of the development of a new social reality, challenges and threats. The meaning of the new social reality is revealed from different per-spectives: as a transformation of society, as a new sociality, as a new type of relationship between social com-munities, groups, institutions and organizations. Particular attention is paid to the determinants that are key in the development of social reality in new realities, demonstrating the interdependence of technological and so-cietal processes in society, the increasing role of information, social, and intellectual technologies in its for-mation, and the challenges, threats, and risks associated with them, including the safety of using high-tech technologies, the safety of consciousness, and the management of society. Globalization, which involves the strengthening of the interconnection of national economies, cultural unification, the growth of migration flows and causes problems of identity, cultural diversity and justice, the digitalization of society, individualism and changing values, which have a significant impact on social processes, are identified as factors in the formation of social reality in the new realities.
