Features of Youth Socialization in the Era of Digitalization: Internet Addiction and Its Inherent Deviations

The study is devoted to the study of the features of Internet addiction and its inherent deviations. Particular at-tention is paid to the concepts of social and human development in order to identify significant distinctive fea-tures that characterize modern young people. In addition, the advantages and negative factors of the socializa-tion era, which influence the formation of personality, are analyzed. A potential risk group of people exposed to Internet addiction is determined, and their distinctive features are examined, on the basis of which a psycholog-ical portrait of a person with Internet addiction is formed and presented in the study. In order to identify young people with addiction, it is recommended to use the questionnaire that is mentioned in the study. In conclusion, both primary and secondary methods of preventing internet addiction have been analyzed. Furthermore, the destructive consequences manifested as a socio-economic crisis, which arises as a result of the proliferation of internet addiction, have been delineated. Effective prevention strategies recommended for implementation within educational institutions are presented.
