Symmetrical optimization scheduling of DC distribution networks considering flow equilibrium

In order to ensure the operational stability of a medium voltage DC distribution network and achieve cooperative optimal dispatching, a power flow-based cooperative optimal dispatching method is proposed. The power flow calculation model is utilized to analyze the power flow distribution in the network, while the balance index is employed to describe network loss outcomes. An objective function considering active power loss and line load balancing within a single dispatching period of the medium voltage DC distribution network is formulated, along with various constraints including power flow limitations. Solve this objective function with a multi-objective particle swarm algorithm and obtain optimization results. Test results demonstrate that this proposed method exhibits remarkable synergistic effects on optimal scheduling, as evidenced by all per unit voltage values being lower than 1.00pu and node voltage fluctuations during daily operation remaining within expected standard ranges. Furthermore, net loss outcomes are consistently below 0.047MW, enabling peak shaving and valley filling operations while avoiding excessive voltage levels.
