Analysis of the application of photovoltaic and energy storage technologies at civil airports

Energy is a key resource for human economic activities and has a crucial impact on the prosperity and development of the world. With the increasing depletion of primary energy reserves such as oil, coal and natural gas, and the huge consumption of non-renewable energy sources has led to serious environmental pollution problems. Solar energy, as a high-quality clean energy, is renewable and non-polluting, and photovoltaic technology has become increasingly mature. The energy output provided by photovoltaic technology is a green and environmentally friendly energy solution. However, the output power of solar power generation is greatly affected by the amount of solar radiation, and there is a certain degree of volatility and intermittency. In order to solve these problems, the application of energy storage technology is crucial, which can effectively mitigate the fluctuation of PV energy supply and demand, shave peaks and fill valleys, and realise the functions of grid-connection, frequency regulation and energy storage. As a dense energy consumption area, the airport is a city business card, the optimisation and upgrading of its energy structure is particularly important. This paper is mainly in-depth study of airport photovoltaic and energy storage technology application technology characteristics, economic benefits and social benefits, in order to provide reference for the airport energy management.
