Evaluation of adjustable potential of industrial users based on the combination weighting method of entropy weight and coefficient of variation

In order to reduce the power shortage during peak hours, meet the limited resources and sustainable development needs, it is particularly critical to evaluate the adjustable potential of users In this paper, a combination weighting evaluation method based on entropy weight and coefficient of variation is proposed to evaluate the adjustable potential of industrial users. First, six evaluation indicators that have a great impact on the adjustable potential are analyzed, and an index evaluation system is constructed. Then, a combination weighting method combining entropy weight method and coefficient of variation method is proposed to reduce the possibility of systematic error and random bias and enhance the accuracy of evaluation results. Then TOPSIS method is used to score users. Finally, the method proposed in this paper is compared with the scoring results of entropy weight method and coefficient of variation method to verify the rationality and feasibility of this method. This method can screen out users with high adjustable potential, enhance the emergency regulation ability of power grid, especially when there is an imbalance between supply and demand of power grid, and can quickly respond to the demand of power grid.
