The low acidity tin chloride electrolyte makes the zinc-metal water battery have excellent reversibility and stability
Rechargeable aqueous zinc ion batteries (AZIBs) are attracting increasing interest due to their outstanding advantages in terms of safety, cost and production, especially when development potential in large-scale energy storage applications. However, AZIBs are often plagued by insufficient energy density and poor cyclic stability caused by zinc ions with a fully hydrated solvated state. Therefore, the design of zinc ion dehydration solvation structure can effectively solve the challenges of current zinc water system batteries.
