Controlling strategy study on batteries imbalance based on SOC and voltage of cell
In order to the inevitable differences that occur during the manufacturing and usage of batteries, the lifespan of battery packs is generally shorter than that of individual battery cells. Active balancing control methods based on inductive or capacitive energy storage components can enhance the lifespan of battery packs. To improve the efficiency of battery pack balancing devices, this paper first designs a new type of energy transfer balancing system using a battery as the energy carrier. This system has advantages such as easy selection, low loss during the transfer process, and fast balancing speed. Then, based on-online SOC estimation method, a balancing system control strategy is designed. Finally, simulations have verified that this design can effectively achieve the balancing of battery packs and has practical value.
