Research on the optimal allocation of grid-forming energy storage access to a high proportion of new energy grids
The role of grid-forming energy storage in the new power system is crucial, such as participating in frequency modulation and inertia control of the power system. However, whether the regulatory role of grid-forming energy storage can be fully exerted depends on whether its capacity and location are correctly configured. In order to solve the problem of optimal configuration of grid-forming energy storage connected to the power grid, this paper studies the optimal configuration method of fixed-capacity site selection of grid-forming energy storage participating in frequency modulation of high-proportion renewable energy power system, and optimizes the frequency modulation effect index, grid vulnerability index and energy storage economy as multiple objectives, and finally obtains the optimization scheme of site-based capacity and capacity of grid-forming energy storage power station, which is verified and optimized in a practical example of a regional power grid.
