Research on the application method of L oilfield structural characteristics in the prevention and control of casing damage in the N2 bottom standard layer

With the deepening of oilfield development, the problem of aging and corrosion of casing has increased, and casing damage has occurred frequently. The difficulty of casing protection has also increased, which has had a significant impact on the stable production of crude oil. The most serious damage is the continuous casing damage in the N2 bottom standard layer. In order to stabilize the underground situation, carry out corresponding prevention and control technology research, systematically sort out the current situation of our factory's casing, formulate corresponding governance measures and monitoring methods, and prevent the occurrence of large-scale casing damage areas. From the nature perspective, L oilfield casing damage can be divided into deformation, dislocation, leakage and rupture. From a vertical perspective, it can be divided into shallow formation casing damage, N2 bottom standard layer casing damage, X0-X24 casing damage, and other oil reservoir casing damage. From a planar perspective, the contiguous casing damage areas are the standard layer casing damage of N2 layer and the X1 layer casing damage. This article mainly studies the relationship between the casing damage and structural characteristics of the N2 bottom standard layer. The reason for the occurrence of casing damage in the N2 bottom standard layer is that water ingress into the mud and shale of the N2 bottom standard layer causes the strata to slide up and down, resulting in huge shear forces that cause the casing to be damaged in pieces. This article mainly studies the application of structural features in the prevention, control, and inspection of casing damage in the N2 bottom standard layer. It predicts the direction of water inflow in the mud shale of the N2 bottom standard layer, verifies the results through well condition investigation, isotope water absorption profile, electromagnetic testing, oxygen activation logging, and other methods, and summarizes the application methods of structural features in the prevention and control of casing damage in the N2 bottom standard layer.
