Study on the influence of single coal seam mining on the stability of transmission tower
The threat of deformation and collapse of power transmission towers induced by continuous coal mining is becoming increasingly severe. By analyzing the deformation characteristics of power transmission towers caused by typical single coal seam mining in Guizhou, a coupled numerical simulation of coal mining and power transmission towers was constructed, and the deformation patterns of the towers under the influence of multiple factors were analyzed. The results show that the slope and settlement of the tower are positively correlated with the surface slope. Under the mining condition of single coal seam, the slope of the tower tends to increase with the increase of surface slope. When the inclination of coal seam is less than 20°, the inclination of the tower is inversely proportional to the inclination of coal seam, and vice versa. When the length of the goaf is less than 300m, it is maintained at a low level. On the contrary, the tilt of the tower increases significantly. This study provides a theoretical reference for transmission tower safety problems caused by typical single seam coal mining in mountainous areas of Guizhou province.
