Planning of energy storage stations in new energy power systems based on k-means clustering
Accompanying the rise of emerging industries, new energy storage power stations have become a key support for improving system flexibility and promoting new energy consumption. To meet the widespread demand for energy storage regulation in various links, a reasonable and economical planning scheme should be formulated. This article proposes an energy storage planning method based on K-means clustering algorithm, aiming to achieve reasonable planning and flexible adjustment of energy storage power plants. Firstly, the source load timing characteristics of the power system were analyzed, typical energy storage technology and economic characteristics were sorted out, and energy storage configuration requirements were explored; Secondly, a model with energy storage investment cost and system operation cost as coupling objectives is formed, which includes two levels of configuration and operation; Finally, actual grid structures were used for verification, and the results showed that this method can meet the requirements of energy storage configuration and system operation.
