A methodology for assessing the risk of power outages in weak regional distribution networks under extreme weather conditions
Conventional power failure risk assessment models for distribution networks in weak regions have low assessment efficiency. Therefore, the design and practical analysis of power failure risk assessment methods for distribution networks in weak regions under extreme weather conditions are proposed. This time, load calculation is advanced to analyze the distribution characteristics of power failure risk of distribution networks in combination with actual risk assessment needs, in combination with extreme climate conditions, while strengthening the evaluation efficiency, an adaptive outage risk assessment model for distribution networks in weak regions is designed, and the risk assessment is realized by dynamic verification processing. The test results indicate that under extreme weather like extreme cold, rain, snow, and ice, the designed power failure risk assessment method for weak region distribution networks yields high risk values, demonstrating its stability, authenticity, efficiency, and targetedness. The effectiveness of the risk assessment has been further verified.
