Simulation of heterogeneous resource operation and analysis of energy storage regulation demand in provincial power grid
With the acceleration of new energy planning and construction, as well as the replacement of new loads, the randomness of heterogeneous resources on both the source and load sides has an impact on the balance of electricity and quantity in the power grid. How to accurately measure the operational characteristics of multiple types of resources in the power system and the demand for regulated energy storage configuration has become an urgent research issue. This article proposes a time series operation characteristic and energy storage regulation demand analysis method applicable to provincial power systems. Firstly, based on historical data and probability methods, the new energy and net load power characteristics are analyzed from multiple perspectives; Secondly, establish a homogeneous energy power coupling model covering multiple heterogeneous resources, and incorporate two types of demand regulating variables: conventional energy storage and new energy storage; Finally, a local equivalent system is adopted for example verification and analysis. The results indicate that the method proposed in this article can conveniently and efficiently analyze the operating characteristics and regulation requirements of power systems, providing guidance for system operation and energy storage regulation resource allocation.
