Stray current corrosion suppression measures of aluminum radiator in converter valve cooling system
The corrosion of the aluminum radiator in the valve internal cooling system poses a serious threat to the stable operation of the converter valve, but there is a lack of effective prevention measures. The stray current in the water is the main cause of corrosion of the aluminum radiator. The voltage equalizing electrode can theoretically eliminate the stray current flowing through the aluminum radiator, but the stray current still exists in practice. In this paper, the causes of stray current are clarified by electric field simulation, and the influence of key parameters of the voltage equalizing electrode (installation position, insertion Angle, geometric size and number) on the stray current distribution of the aluminum radiator is deeply analyzed. Finally, the arrangement of the voltage equalizing electrode is optimized by coordinate search algorithm, and the stray current passing through the aluminum radiator is effectively reduced.
