Study on Reasonable Well Spacing of Test Well Group in Shale Gas Reservoir: A Case Study in Jiaoshiba of Fuling Area
Abstract Reasonable well spacing and production schedule play an important role in improving the reserves producing degree and enhancing oil recovery (EOR) in shale gas reservoir, but the deployment of shale gas well spacing is still in the exploratory stage at present. I n this paper, based on the well spacing design and production situation in Jiaoshiba of Fuling area, the Enhanced Discrete Fracture Network (EDFN) numerical simulator is used to analyze the Jiaoshiba shale gas reservoir performance when the well spacing is 600m, the child well performance is also studied when the infill well is drilled between the parent wells. The test well group performance is compared when different production mode is adopted. The results show that 600m well spacing is much larger for Jiaoshiba of Fuling area, the infill well can be drilled to reduce well spacing and improve the producing degree of reserves and Enhance Oil Recovery (EOR), constant bottom hole pressure can much more improve the recovery degree of SRV internal reserves than constant rate.
