AL-FARAZDAQ'S POEM IN PRAISE OF ALI IBN AL-HUSSEIN AN ARGUMENTATIVE STUDY
The study aimed to identify the role of internal auditing toward the development of the role of Argumentation is used with the aim of influencing the receiver and compelling them to adopt a particular position or change a behavior or belief.Argumentation is manifested in language through all the phonetic, morphological, lexical, syntactic, and semantic elements that are employed in service of the speaker's argumentative goals and purposes.Although poetry relies on imagination and is specialized in entertaining rather than persuading, like rhetoric, it is not devoid of the employment of argumentation in order to defend a particular cause or convince the receiver, sway them, and compel them to modify their positions, behaviors, ideas, and beliefs. This research aims to study Farazdaq's poem in praise of Ali ibn al-Husayn, in which he argued against Hisham ibn 'Abd al-Malik when the latter denied the knowledge of the Prophet's grandson in front of his companions from the people of Syria during the pilgrimage, fearing that they would become attached to him.The study departs from the problematic: What are the argumentative styles and mechanisms that Farazdaq employed in his argument against Hisham ibn 'Abd al-Malik?And how was he able to establish the lofty status of Ali ibn al-Husayn to his addressee? The argumentative approach will be adopted to carry out this study.
