FRIENDSHIP IN THE THOUGHT OF IMAM HASSAN AL-MUJTABA (PEACE BE UPON HIM)
Friendship is one of God's blessings upon man, and social relations between members of one society are a necessary and indispensable matter, as it is part of man's life; man is a social creature by nature, and he cannot live alone without a family, colleagues, and friends, and mixing with people is a necessity that he cannot do without. The Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) said: "A friend is called a friend because he is honest with you about yourself and your faults, so whoever does that, then trust him, for he is a friend".Friends are the blessing that a person enjoys, and they light his path in life when the world is dark in his eyes, and they are the ones who help and support a person in facing the challenges and difficulties that the individual faces, so it is necessary to choose a good friend, whose resources and sources and the extent of his faith must be known, and this meaning is emphasized in the saying of Imam Al-Hassan Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) who said: "Do not befriend anyone until you know his resources and sources, and if you have gained experience and are satisfied with the company, then befriend him to excuse the stumbling block and console him in hardship" .Imam Al-Hassan Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him), whom God Almighty adorned with great character, good qualities, and the company of good believers, so friendship took an important aspect of the narrations, hadiths, and commandments of Imam Al-Hassan Al-Sabt (peace be upon him), including the qualities of a faithful friend, the duties of a true friend, the limits of friendship, and other aspects in the thought of Imam Al-Hassan Al-Sabt (peace be upon him) that we will address in this research, after God's success and care.
