THE EFFECTIVENESS OF USING MICROSOFT MATH SOLVER SOFTWARE IN MOTIVATION TOWARDS LEARNING MATHEMATICS AMONG NINTH GRADE STUDENTS

This study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of Microsoft Math Solver in motivation towards learning mathematics among ninth grade students .The study sample consisted of (56) students from the ninth grade in Al Dakhiliya Governorate, and the researcher followed the semi-experimental approach and the study sample was chosen intentionally, the sample was distributed into two experimental groups and consisted of ( 27) students, which were taught using Microsoft Math Solver software and a control and consisted of (29) students, which were taught using the usual method .The results of the study were as follows: The existence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance ( = 0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students, and the scores of the control group students in the dimensional application of the motivation scale towards learning mathematics in favor of the average scores of the experimental group .In light of these results, the researcher recommended the need to employ and use Microsoft Math Solver software in motivation, because the study showed a positive impact on students' motivation towards a study in the unit of "analysis and solving algebraic equations" among students.
