URBAIN POLICIES IN THE DIGITAL ERA: THE CASE OF MOROCCO
The future of our planet has become a pressing concern, particularly in the context of exponential population growth, environmental degradation, and increasing urban challenges such as pollution and rural exodus. These issues complicate urban management and exacerbate existing crises. In this landscape, emerging technologies (ET) have positioned themselves as critical tools for addressing these multifaceted challenges. They are fundamentally reshaping lifestyles and enhancing the organization and governance of cities. This study aims to explore the role of digital technologies in urban management, focusing on their potential to develop intelligent and sustainable urban models.By analyzing the interactions between technological innovation, urban governance, and collective well-being, the research seeks to identify how ET can be effectively integrated into urban policies. It will also consider the socio-economic needs of diverse populations in rapidly urbanizing contexts and the environmental crises they face. The results also contribute to understanding the transformative impact of digital technologies on urban environments, offering insights into how cities can leverage these innovations to foster resilience, improve quality of life, and promote sustainable development in the face of contemporary challenges.
