ANÁLISE E IMPLEMENTAÇÃO DE SISTEMAS DE COMBATE A INCÊNDIOS EM EDIFICAÇÕES: DESAFIOS, TECNOLOGIAS E IMPACTOS NA SEGURANÇA ESTRUTURAL

This study addresses the essential issue of fire prevention and firefighting in buildings, addressing the normative guidelines, legal provisions and technical instructions issued by the Fire Department in the state of Amazonas. It rigorously examines the regulatory requirements inherent in the establishment of an efficient firefighting system, highlighting the unavoidable need to preserve and maintain equipment in full operational conditions. In addition, it emphasizes the relevance of preventive practices in the context of buildings, with the appropriate categorization of fire classes and the respective methodologies for their containment. It also lists the main provisions and documents essential for the compliance of fire protection systems, emphasizing that such requirements are not limited to formal compliance with standards imposed by municipal, state and federal entities, but have, above all, the greater purpose of safeguarding lives and mitigating material losses.
