Optimization of Timing for Risk-Reducing Salpingectomy and Oophorectomy
(Abstracted from Obstet Gynecol 2025;145(1):21–30) High-grade serous carcinoma of the ovarian epithelium is the deadliest gynecologic cancer. Long-term survival rates for this disease are less than 30%; ovarian cancer screening is currently not effective in reducing mortality and causes more harm than good in the average risk population.
