The Use of Oral Nomegestrol Acetate/Estradiol in Rapid and Random Start Preparation of Endometrium Before Office Hysteroscopic Polypectomies: A Multicenter, Prospective, Randomized Controlled Trial
(Abstracted from Eur J Obstet Gynecol Reprod Biol 2024:299:213–218) Hysteroscopy has an excellent safety profile and is the standard of care to treat endouterine disease via direct visualization. Newer technologies have been developed to minimize discomfort for patients and allow performance in an office setting, although complications do still arise on occasion.
