TRATAMENTO ENDODÔNTICO APÓS TRAUMATISMO DENTÁRIO EM DENTE  ANTERIOR

ABSTRACT This study describes the preparation of the root canal of the upper central incisor with a Solla Collors rotary file in a single session. A 31-year-old male patient with no history of systemic diseases sought a private practice for root canal treatment. Clinically, the patient reported having suffered dental trauma one year ago and that he had broken the tooth. There was no response to the cold pulp sensitivity test. After anesthesia, the coronal opening and exploration of the root canal were performed. The canal preparation was performed with a Solla Collors rotary file 70/03 and foraminal patency was achieved with a Solla Collors Glidepath file 16/02, one millimeter beyond the apical foramen. The obturation of the canal system was performed using the single cone technique, associated with Bio C Sealer cement. It is concluded that the success of endodontic therapy was achieved by an effective and safe protocol of endodontic treatment in anterior teeth, using state-of-the-art endodontic technologies and materials.
