Linear focal elastosis: a case report with a brief literature review
Linear focal elastosis (LFE) is an intermittently encountered dermatosis that is often under-recognized and under-reported. Given the unclear aetiopathogenesis and lack of effective treatments, adding more case reports to the literature would contribute to future research. We present a case of LFE in an adolescent boy, describing the findings from dermoscopic examination and updating the epidemiology from a brief literature review.
