Imaging Characteristics of MRI in Diagnosis of Hepatocellular Carcinoma at E Hospital
Our study of 40 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) at E Hospital, indicated that: The average age: 63,5 ± 10,8, most commonly from 50 - 70 years: 57,5%. Mainly male, male to female ratio:12/1. One tumor accounted for 50%, right lobe: 57,5%. Size of mass 2 - 5 cm: 52,5%. Increased signal on T2W: 87,5%, decreased signal on T1W: 85%, diffusion restriction on Diffusion: 92,5%. Strongly enhanced in arterial phase: 100%, strong washout in venous and late phase: 97,5%. Portal vein thrombosis: 22,5%, arteriovenous malformation: 2,5%.
