The efficiency of the Vostok EM-1 fertilizer in the cultivation in the Middle Volga region

The studies were carried out in order to determine the efficiency of using the Vostok EM-1 fertilizer in the arid conditions of the Middle Volga region. The effect of the microbiological fertilizer was studied in 2019–2022 on typical chernozem in the crop rotation link: winter wheat – soybean – sunflower. The studied variants: control without fertilizers (background); background + fertilization during vegetation; background + fertilization (before sowing and during vegetation). On average, over the years of studies, it was found that the use of effective microorganisms during vegetation provided a significant increase in the productivity of the crop rotation link, compared to the variant without fertilizers, by 0.23 grain units/ha (11.1 %). The combined application of Vostok EM-1 fertilizer contributed to an increase in productivity, compared to the control variant, by 0.30 grain units/ha (14.5 %). On average, for the crop rotation link, the highest notional net income and profitability level were established for the variant with the use of the Vostok EM-1 fertilizer in the studied crops – 19,346.7 rub./ha and 140.7 %, consequently, which is 782.3–3155.6 rub./ha and 119.7–120.0 % more than the control variant and the variant with double application of microbiological fertilizer. To obtain high yields and maximum efficiency in crops of winter soft wheat, soybeans and sunflower, it is recommended to apply the Vostok EM-1 microbiological fertilizer at a dose of 0,5 l/ha.
