Justification of the agrotechnological hub of digital engineering solutions
Digital engineering technological solutions integrated into the agro-industrial complex, first of all, contribute to the optimization of industrial production processes, reducing their resource intensity, increasing efficiency and speed of managerial decision-making. Due to the introduction of digital technologies, a high probability of increasing labor productivity is expected, given the currently noticeable shortage of personnel in the AIC – machine operators, agronomists and other specialists. Projects on the development of digital platforms and simulators for engineering, veterinary medicine and agronomy were implemented as part of the participation of the Vavilovsky University in the strategic academic leadership program “Priority 2030”. The result of the development is an acceleration of practical learning by 40 %, the advantages of using digital solutions in a virtual environment isolated from external influences are efficiency, safety and cost-effectiveness. The innovativeness of the presented digital developments, their demand in the educational services market and the need to further scale already integrated digital solutions into real agricultural production necessitate a rapid transition to the stage of practical application. The agrotechnological hub is a catalyst for the transition and a guide between development scientists and stakeholders, generating mentoring and expert support, testing digital platforms and simulators in educational and applied aspects. The regional model of working with agribusiness created jointly with industrial partners on its basis helps accelerate the transfer of product innovations to the AIC of the region.
