The influence of chelated forms of micronutrients (Fe, Zn, Cu) on the productivity of amaranth
The article is devoted to studying the impact of chelate microfertilizers (iron, zinc, copper) on the productivity of Amaranth variety Voronezhskii 36 under the conditions of the southern Non-Chernozem region. Various methods of fertilizer application are considered, including foliar treatment and pre-sowing seed treatment. Field experiments were conducted during 2023-2024, taking into account the climatic characteristics of the region. The obtained data show that the use of chelate fertilizers contributes to an increase in amaranth yields when applying foliar feeding and a comprehensive approach, including pre-sowing treatment. The application of iron chelates increased grain yield by 0.32 t/ha compared to the control group, while zinc increased it by 27 t/ha. Similar patterns were observed when determining the green mass of amaranth. in Particular attention was paid to changes in plant quality characteristics such as crude protein and crude fat content in grains and green mass. The use of chelate forms of micronutrients led to a decrease in crude protein content. At the same time, the use of iron chelates increased the crude fat content up to 1.25%, while zinc increased it by 2.17%.
