The effect of a metabolic-probiotic suspension on the metabolism and quality of colostrum of cows of the dry period

One of the key aspects in animal feeding is the design and the use of probiotic supplements based on B. subtilis microorganisms. Such supplements contain probiotic bacteria and microbial components and have a beneficial effect on various aspects of the physiology, metabolism and immune system of the body. The aim of the project was to study the effects of probiotic suspension on the metabolic processes of the animal body and the quality of colostrum in cows. As part of the research, a probiotic suspension was designed. It contains the active metabolites of B. subtilis in the form of amino acids and organic acids, which have a significant effect on animal metabolism. Based on practical and theoretical data, a mechanism of a biologically active probiotic suspension has been proposed. It can be used as a biologically active additive for animals. As a result of the research, a statistically significant trend was revealed The experiments showed an increase of total protein ( 12.9% ) and an increase in glucose concentration (31.6% (p?0.05) ) in the blood of animals of the experimental group due to the albumin fraction. Metabolic processes in the blood have a direct influence on the qualitative composition of colostrum. The level of the casein fraction of protein in the colostrum of cows in the experimental group exceeded the level in the control group by 0.34%. A statistically significant increase in albumin by 0.4% was also noted in the colostrum of cows in the experimental group. The content of total immunoglobulins was higher by 7.6% compared to animals of the control group.
