FECHAMENTO DE DIASTEMA COM RESINA COMPOSTA

The aesthetic concern of the previous teeth has been the target of searching in recent years. For some the presence of diastema can cause discomfort and insecurity in everyday social interaction affecting the patient’s quality of life, however it can be solved through orthodontic treatment, which proves to be an effective alternative, But it proves longer due to some complications that may occur during treatment and also the patient’s collaboration to with the same influencing within the time of diastema closure, another indication for closing is the use of composite resin. With the evolution of restorative materials direct adhesives and minimally invasive techniques, it is possible to close diastemes effectively and aesthetic in a single session. The present case that addresses the closure of diastema between the anterior teeth 12, 13 22 and 23 of a female patient. Then, planning was assisted by study models associated with diagnostic waxing. The restorative election technique for this case was that of direct resin resin with the aid of a silicon guide to make the facets. After completion of the case, the finish and polishing gives a natural aspect to the resin, generating a appropriate anatomization and giving natural brightness to dental elements. However, treatment followed by direct resin restorations of composite resin showed the most effective form in the aesthetic solution of the smile reaching the patient’s expectation and within the principles of maximum structural preservation of dental tissues.
