A CRIAÇÃO DE UM APLICATIVO DE EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL NA CIDADE DE ARRAIAL DO CABO SOB A PERSPECTIVA DO TURISMO

This work aims to reflect on the importance of Environmental Education in Arraial do Cabo to propose an Environmental Education intervention for tourists/visitors and residents of Arraial do Cabo, in Rio de Janeiro, through mobile learning. In this way, it aims to raise awareness among users regarding the solid waste left on the beaches of the Municipality of Arraial do Cabo. It is a teaching possibility for non-formal mobile learning. To this end, we carried out a qualitative research through fieldwork, reading and bibliographic interpretation and application of two questionnaires: the first of a diagnostic nature for the elaboration of the application and the second, with the objective of evaluating the developed product. Data analysis was descriptive according to the guidelines of Yin (2010). As a result, we can conclude that the application promoted environmental awareness in users who were impacted by the tourist garbage left on the beaches, leading them to reflect on their actions, as recommended by environmental education.
