Study of the geodynamic state of the rock massif using frequency analysis under the conditions of funnel formation

Abstract Underground mineral mining lead to a change in the stress state of the rock massif, the formation of fractured zones, water penetration and other negative consequences. These processes can destabilize the mining area and cause serious technical and environmental hazards. Monitoring of geodynamic phenomena is crucial to prevent and mitigate the impact of these factors. The conducted geophysical studies revealed active geodynamic processes in the thickness of the rock massif of the mining outlet of the Ternivska mine. Surveyed residential areas and infrastructure facilities are subject to significant man-made impact from underground mining operations. Monitoring by the method of natural pulsed electromagnetic field of the Earth made it possible to determine critical areas where geodynamic processes are most active. In order to respond to negative changes in a timely manner, it is necessary to carry out systematic instrumental geophysical research.
