Methodology proposal for the creation of SP-EN consecutive interpretation practices with pedagogical and research purposes

This article presents the creation of two dialogic consecutive interpreting practices. It provides an overview of interpreting pedagogy in Mexico, its challenges, and some psychopedagogical proposals for interpreter training. Additionally, it highlights the areas of opportunity in the development of materials for interpreter training. The methodological steps followed in the creation of the practices, their implementation, the data processing, as well as the Corpus of Interpreting Learners are discussed. The article concludes with recommendations for the design of materials, their pedagogical benefits, and research opportunities.
