Canadian Light Source—20 years of discovery
The Canadian Light Source (CLS) is a third-generation synchrotron facility at the University of Saskatchewan, which enables academic, industry, and government researchers from across Canada and around the world to study the structure of matter with advanced X-ray techniques. As the CLS celebrates its 20th anniversary of operation, we reflect on its scientific achievements, the impact it has on the new generation of young Canadians as a learning center, and its future goals to remain at the forefront of innovation and technology.
