Automatic gas pressure control system in the separation unit

Currently, there are increased requirements for the quality of oil separation processes due to the deteriorating environmental situation and large losses during separation. The development of automatic control systems for oil separation processes and their reliable operation are becoming important in the complex automation of oil and gas production and treatment processes. The separator as an object of automatic control is a complex object whose dynamic properties can be described by nonlinear differential equations. The existing methods of mathematical description of separation plants are incomplete because the influence of any one technological parameter is usually considered and the influence of other parameters is not taken into account. Improving the quality of oil separation is possible with the development of automatic control systems based on adequate mathematical models. One of the important automatic control systems of the separation plant is the natural gas pressure control system in the separator. The paper considers a nonlinear model of the oil separation process and a gas pressure control system in the separator based on a linearized model of the oil separation process.
